Job Description

The Accountant/Cashier is responsible for managing daily cash transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting accounting operations, and ensuring all financial transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:Cashier Duties:

Handle daily cash collections and disbursements. Maintain the cash register and ensure cash balance accuracy at the end of each day. Prepare and deposit cash/cheques to the bank as per company policy. Issue receipts and maintain proper records of all cash transactions. Reconcile cash balances with accounting records regularly.

Accounting Duties:

Record financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, etc.). Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense vouchers. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Maintain accurate ledgers and ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements. Support audits and provide required documentation to auditors. Monitor accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely payments and collections.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. Proven experience (1-3 years) as an accountant, cashier, or similar role ( Fresher With Internship Experience or Good knowledge in Finance Also Eligible Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software. Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Good organizational and time-management skills. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and taxation. Integrity, confidentiality, and reliability.
