About the Opportunity

As an Account Executive at VBSB & Associates, you will play a key role in managing accounting operations and statutory compliance for MNC and corporate clients. Your responsibilities will include:

oEvaluate, design, and implement accounting systems and processes to streamline financial operations

oPrepare and present accurate monthly financial reports, including:

Profit & Loss Statements Balance Sheets Cash Flow Statements
oAnalyse financial performance and provide insights to support management and strategic decision-making

oPerform and oversee regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records

oMaintain and control master data of the general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate entries

oEnsure compliance with GST and Income Tax regulations, including preparation and filing of returns

oCoordinate with internal teams and clients to resolve accounting, reconciliation, and compliance matters

oSupport process improvements and documentation for efficient financial reporting

Desired Candidate Profile

oBachelor's degree in accounting.

oMinimum 1-2 years of relevant experience, including experience under a Chartered Accountancy Firm

oArticleship or exposure to CA firm working environment preferred

oStrong working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

oHands-on experience with Tally ERP 9

oGood understanding of GST and Income Tax laws and compliances

oProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and comfort with digital tools such as ChatGPT

oStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

oEffective communication and interpersonal skills

oGood organizational and time-management abilities

oLeadership qualities with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
