Job Description

An automobile workshop Accounts Executive manages daily financial operations, maintains records, and prepares financial statements. Key responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable/receivable, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and performing financial analysis to support workshop efficiency. This role is crucial for tracking job costs, managing inventory turnover, and maintaining profitability for the workshop.

Responsibilities

Manage daily financial transactions:

Oversee and record all daily financial activities, including processing invoices and customer payments.

Maintain financial records:

Keep ledgers and financial data accurate and up-to-date.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Manage the accounts payable (bills) and accounts receivable (invoices) to ensure timely payments.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in preparing budgets and forecasting future financial performance.

Compliance and Tax:

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and assist with tax filings.

Financial Analysis:

Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends, assess profitability of services, and support strategic decisions.

Inventory Management:

Track inventory turnover to help manage costs and improve cash flow.

Job Costing:

Maintain records for job cards to track labor hours and parts used for each service.

Internal Controls:

Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications and skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is often required.

Experience:

Previous experience in accounting or finance is necessary, with a preference for those in the automotive industry.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software (like QuickBooks or SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is essential.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are vital for this role.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
