The Account Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, vendor & client invoice management, bank reconciliation, GST filing support, and maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally/ERP software.
Prepare and process vendor invoices, purchase bills & sales invoices.
Handle accounts receivable & accounts payable.
Perform bank reconciliation and ensure accurate cash/cheque records.
Coordinate with vendors and clients for payment follow-ups.
Prepare and maintain supporting documents for GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
Assist in monthly, quarterly and yearly financial closing.
Maintain petty cash and update expense sheets.
Support internal and external audits by sharing required documents.
Handle payroll assistance (if required) and staff reimbursements.
Maintain financial files, ledgers, and documentation for easy retrieval.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
Hands-on experience with Tally/ERP.
Good understanding of GST, TDS & basic taxation.
Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, basic formulas).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com / Equivalent).
1-4 years of relevant accounting experience
