Job Description

Job Summary:

The Account Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions with a specific focus on

GST compliance, TDS calculations, return filing

, and statutory reporting. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and strong knowledge of Indian tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

GST Compliance

Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual return GSTR-9). Reconcile GST input tax credit with GSTR-2B and purchase register. Maintain proper GST records and documentation. Handle GST payments and respond to GST notices.

TDS Management

Calculate monthly TDS as per applicable sections of the Income Tax Act. Deduct TDS on vendor payments, salaries, and other applicable expenses. File quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.). Issue TDS certificates (Form 16 & Form 16A) within deadlines.

Accounting & Reporting

Maintain accurate books of accounts in accounting software (Tally/Zoho/ERP). Prepare bank reconciliations and vendor reconciliations. Assist in monthly closing, trial balance, and financial reports. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Coordination & Communication

Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government authorities. Coordinate with vendors for invoice and tax-related clarifications. Support management in decision-making with timely MIS reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter or equivalent.

Experience:

1-3 years in accounting with hands-on experience in GST & TDS. Proficiency in

Tally ERP / accounting software

. Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, etc.). Familiarity with online GST & Income Tax portals. Strong attention to detail and time management.
