The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with financial reporting. The role ensures compliance with accounting standards and helps the organization maintain financial efficiency and transparency.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain day-to-day accounts and maintain all ledgers including cash, bank and purchase, all journal vouchers.
Record financial transactions accurately and timely.
Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Maintain attendance and payroll records
Financial Reporting
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support budget preparation and variance analysis.
Provide reports to management regarding financial performance.
Compliance & Audits
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, PF and ESI etc.).
Assist auditors during internal and external audits.
Maintain records for tax filing and regulatory submissions.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process invoices, expense claims, and payments.
Follow up on outstanding receivables and coordinate with clients/vendors.
Other Responsibilities
Maintain fixed assets register and depreciation schedules.
Assist in cash flow management and bank transactions.
Support senior management with any financial analysis or projects as required.
Assist in Costing and Pricing Evaluation
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field (CA/ICWA inter is a plus).
5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Proficiency in accounting software (Odoo etc.) and MS Excel/Google sheets.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, payroll, and other statutory compliances and softwares.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
