To manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and support financial decision-making in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
Record daily purchase, sales, payment, and receipt entries in
Tally / ERP / SAP
.
Maintain
cash book, bank book, and ledger accounts
accurately.
Prepare
journal vouchers, debit/credit notes, and reconciliation statements
.
Handle
Accounts Payable (vendors)
and
Accounts Receivable (customers)
efficiently.
Monitor
petty cash
and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.
2. Taxation & Compliance
Prepare and file
GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, GSTR-9)
.
Handle
TDS deduction, filing, and challan payments
.
Assist in
Income Tax and Audit requirements
.
Maintain compliance with
PF, ESI, and other statutory regulations
.
3. Banking & Financial Management
Handle
bank reconciliation
on a monthly basis.
Manage
payment approvals, online transfers, and fund flow statements
.
Coordinate with banks for
LC, overdraft, or loan documentation
.
4. Reporting & MIS
Prepare
monthly Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet drafts, and Expense Analysis
.
Support management with
costing reports and budget planning
.
Ensure
timely closing of books
at month-end and year-end.
5. Audit & Verification
Assist external and internal auditors during periodic audits.
Maintain all vouchers, bills, and supporting documents for verification.
6.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of
Tally ERP / SAP / Excel
Good understanding of
GST, TDS, and accounting principles (AS/IndAS)
Analytical thinking and accuracy in numbers
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Ability to handle
multi-tasking and confidentiality
