Job Description

Looking for Account Executive - Vadodara Location (work from office only).
Australia Shift Timings are (4:30am to 1:30pm) & during day light saving time (3:45am to 12:45pm) (Mon - Fri).

We are seeking a detail-oriented Offshore Accounting Assistant based in India to support our Australian accounting team. The role involves day-to-day accounting support using MYOB, strong Excel-based reconciliations, shared document management via One Drive, and professional email communication with the Australian accounts team.

Key Responsibilities



Perform daily accounting tasks using

MYOB

(AccountRight / Essentials)

Process supplier bills, and expense entries

Assist with

bank and credit card reconciliations



Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions

Prepare and maintain reconciliation schedules using

Microsoft Excel



Manage and organise accounting files in

OneDrive / SharePoint



Communicate via email/chat/phone with the Australian accounts team

Follow Australian accounting processes, timelines, and documentation standards

Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial data

Required Skills & Experience



Software & Tools



Proven experience with

MYOB



Strong working knowledge of

Microsoft Excel



o Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF, SUMIF

Experience using

OneDrive / SharePoint

for shared file management

Professional email communication skills

Accounting Knowledge



Sound understanding of basic accounting principles

Hands-on experience with:

o Accounts Payable (AP)

o Accounts Receivable (AR)

o Bank reconciliations

Exposure to

Australian accounting

and

GST concepts

is highly preferred

Communication & Work Style



Strong written English communication skills

Ability to liaise with Australian-based teams

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and follow instructions precisely

Comfortable working in an offshore-onshore team structure

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field (B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent)

2-4 years

of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience

Prior experience supporting overseas clients preferred

Nice to Have



Experience working with Australian SMEs or accounting firms

BAS preparation support exposure

Experience working with CPA / Chartered Accountant practices
