Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books of accounts, including entries for sales, purchases, expenses, and payments
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents
Perform bank and ledger reconciliations on a regular basis
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
Maintain proper documentation and records as per company policies
Prepare basic MIS reports and summaries using Excel
Support audits by providing required financial data and documents
Ensure compliance with basic accounting standards and internal controls
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com preferred)
1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Good working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
Experience with accounting software (Xero preferred; Tally/Zoho acceptable)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time management skills
Preferred Skills
Exposure to GST basics (returns, reconciliation)
Experience working in a small or mid-sized organization
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
