Job Title: Senior Accountant - Travel Industry

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee and manage financial

functions for our travel company. The candidate must be proficient in accounting processes related

to travel bookings, vendor payments,

GST & TDS

compliance, financial analysis, and monthly

reporting. The role requires accuracy, responsibility, and the ability to independently manage

accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including sales invoices, vendor bills, refunds,
credit notes & expense entries.

Maintain accurate financial records of domestic & international bookings, receivables &
payables.

Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, ledger reports & MIS summaries. Handle GST, TDS/TCS filing & compliance ensuring timely statutory submissions. Perform regular vendor/client reconciliation and bank reconciliation. Oversee payroll processing, reimbursements, and monthly accounting closure. Manage budgeting, cash flow planning, and expense control. Coordinate with auditors for internal & statutory audits along with documentation. Ensure accuracy and transparency in financial documentation, records and reporting.
Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce/Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred). Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience (travel industry preferred). Proficiency in Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks or similar software. Good knowledge of GST, TDS/TCS rules, accounting standards & reconciliation. Strong Excel skills and analytical ability. Excellent communication, responsibility & problem-solving capability.
