Position : Accounts Payable Executive

Location: Ahmedabad

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Executive to manage the company's outgoing payments. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintain vendor relationships, and support financial operations with precision and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure accuracy Maintain vendor records and reconcile statements Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date Prepare and execute payment runs (cheques, NEFT/RTGS, online transfers) Resolve invoice discrepancies and communicate with vendors Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Support audits by providing necessary documentation

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable or finance operations Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle) Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Attributes

Experience in a mid-to-large scale organization Familiarity with ERP systems and automated payment workflows Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
