Job Summary:
Responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, billing, and financial reporting for logistics and freight activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely support to operations and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily accounting entries, vendor bills, and client invoices in Tally / ERP.
Manage accounts receivable and payable, follow up for payments, and reconcile ledgers.
Prepare freight invoices, debit/credit notes, and verify shipment costings.
Maintain bank reconciliation, petty cash, and monthly closings.
Ensure GST, TDS, and statutory filings are done accurately and on time.
Generate MIS reports, profit & loss statements, and assist during audits.
Coordinate with operations and sales teams for cost allocation and billing support.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and freight billing systems.
Proficiency in Tally / ERP and MS Excel.
Good understanding of logistics cost structures and documentation.
Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to meet deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience:
B.Com / M.Com
2-5 years' experience
in
accounting
