Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented
Account Assistant
to support our finance team in the construction sector. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in
data entry in Tally
, a good understanding of
TDS and GST rates
, and the ability to maintain accurate accounting records for multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter day-to-day accounting transactions in
Tally (ERP / Prime)
including purchase, sales, journal, and payment vouchers.
Maintain records of
vendor bills, subcontractor payments, and site expenses
.
Assist in
preparation and filing of TDS
and
GST returns
.
Check and apply correct
GST and TDS rates
on invoices and payments.
Prepare and update
bank reconciliation statements
.
Maintain
project-wise expense and payment details
.
Support in preparing financial summaries and assisting auditors when required.
Handle documentation, filing, and coordination with vendors for invoices and payment queries.
Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in
Tally ERP / Tally Prime
and
MS Excel
.
Good knowledge of
TDS provisions, deduction procedures, and rates
.
Sound understanding of
GST rates and input/output entries
.
Accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Familiarity with
construction billing and cost tracking
is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
