Maintain daily sales, purchase, and expense entries in accounting software (Tally or similar).
Handle billing, credit/debit notes, and GST-related entries.
Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, and payment records.
Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and petty cash.
Support monthly and yearly closing of accounts and assist in audits.
Manage stock accounting and coordinate with the store and purchase teams for stock verification.
Ensure timely vendor and supplier payments.
Generate reports such as sales summaries, outstanding reports, and expense analysis.
Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.
Coordinate with management for budgeting and financial planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting (retail experience preferred).
Proficiency in
Tally ERP
, Excel, and basic accounting principles.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
