Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive

Accounts Executive

to join our Finance team at NewsReach. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and preparing timely reconciliations and reports. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial integrity and accuracy of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting

Record purchase, sales, journal, and bank entries accurately and promptly.

Bank Reconciliation

Match internal bank book with external bank statements and ensure timely reconciliation.

GST Reconciliation

Reconcile GSTR-2B with the purchase register and ensure compliance with GST filing timelines.

TDS Payment

Make timely TDS payments and prepare quarterly TDS filing data for submission to the Chartered Accountant.

Vendor Payments

Verify invoices, process vendor payments, and ensure adherence to credit terms.

Client Invoicing

Generate and send accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.

Suspense Account Management

Identify, track, and resolve suspense entries within the designated timeline.

Closing Adjustments

Perform month-end and year-end adjustment entries and ensure records are audit-ready.

TDS Reconciliation

Reconcile Form 16 / 26AS with Tally and resolve discrepancies.

Ledger Reconciliation

Conduct regular ledger reconciliation to ensure no pending mismatches.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Accuracy and timeliness of accounting entries Timely and error-free reconciliations (Bank, GST, TDS, Ledger) Zero penalties or delays in statutory payments Timely invoice generation and vendor payments Effective resolution of suspense entries Audit-ready books of accounts

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (B.Com/M.Com). 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting. Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software. Good understanding of Indian accounting and tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.). Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
