About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to handle invoicing, payment tracking, cost comparisons, and vendor/client communications. This role requires strong Excel skills, timely follow-ups over calls, and a commitment to ensuring accurate billing and payments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Generate and send invoices promptly.

- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing invoices.

- Manage Excel sheets for transactions, payments, and credits.

- Analyze invoice amounts and report discrepancies.

- Follow up with clients for pending payments via calls.

- Update and track payment statuses post-follow-ups.

- Process credit applications from vendors based on eligibility.

- Maintain detailed records of received and utilized credits.

- Ensure timely approvals and processing of pending payments.

- Coordinate with vendors and clients for billing concerns.

- Organize invoices for accounting and audits.

- Prepare financial summary reports on a weekly or monthly basis.

Qualifications & Skills:

- 1-2 years of experience in accounting, billing, or finance.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, tables, filters).

- Effective verbal & written communication for client/vendor interactions.

- High level of accuracy & attention to detail in financial transactions.

- Ability to work independently & manage time efficiently.

- Familiarity with basic accounting principles.

- Experience with accounting software is a plus.

- Knowledge of GST, credits, and vendor payments preferred.
