Position Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive / Junior

Accountant to support our finance function. This role is critical in maintaining the

accuracy and integrity of our financial records, managing invoicing and payment

processes, assisting in financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with applicable

financial regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance

Manager and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations and

contribute to the company's overall financial health.

Key Responsibilities

? Bookkeeping & Financial Record Maintenance:

Maintain comprehensive and accurate day-to-day bookkeeping records, ensuring

all financial transactions are recorded in accordance with company policies and

generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

? Invoicing & Payment Processing:

Manage the full invoicing cycle for vendors and customers, including invoice

generation, dispatch, follow-up, and reconciliation, to ensure timely payments and

receipt of funds.

? Bank Reconciliation:

Conduct regular bank reconciliations to verify and reconcile bank statements with

company records, promptly investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

? Vendor Management:

Maintain and update vendor records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and

confidentiality of all vendor-related financial data.

? Financial Reporting Support:

Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports, including monthly,

quarterly, and annual statements, supporting the Finance Manager in delivering

accurate and timely financial information to management.

? Audit & Compliance:

Support internal and external audit activities by preparing necessary

documentation, responding to audit queries, and ensuring adherence to statutory

and regulatory requirements.

? Process Improvement:

Collaborate with finance and other departments to identify opportunities for

process optimization and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in

financial operations.

? Adherence to Deadlines:

Ensure all financial tasks, reports, and reconciliations are completed within

stipulated deadlines, maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

? Accuracy and timeliness of bookkeeping and financial reconciliations.

? Reduction in invoice processing and payment cycle times.

? Maintenance of error-free vendor records and financial documentation.

? Successful completion of audits with minimal or no findings.

? Contribution to process improvements that enhance financial operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field from a

recognized university.

? 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably

within a corporate or multinational environment.

? Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or

similar platforms.

? Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data

analysis) and Google Sheets.

? Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulatory

compliance requirements.

? Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify and rectify discrepancies

early.

? Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage

multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

? Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate

with internal teams and external stakeholders.

? Demonstrated problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to challenges.

? High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining

confidentiality.

Working Conditions

? This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Surat office.

? Standard office hours apply, with occasional extended hours during month-end or

audit periods.
