2. Sales & Distribution Accounting
Record
route-wise and distributor-wise sales
Verify
invoices, delivery challans, and returns (bread wastage/expiry)
Track
credit sales, outstanding payments, and recoveries
Reconcile
sales vs stock issued
3. Inventory & Stock Control
Maintain
daily stock register
(opening, production receipt, dispatch, closing)
Monitor
bread returns, damages, and shortages
Coordinate with production/warehouse for stock accuracy
Support
physical stock verification
4. Compliance & Documentation
Maintain proper
accounting records and vouchers
Ensure compliance with
company policies and statutory requirements
Coordinate with auditors and head office accounts team
5. Coordination & Support
Work closely with
Depot In-Charge, Sales Team, and Drivers
Resolve billing, payment, and stock-related issues
Support payroll data, incentives, and route expenses if required
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Commerce (B.Com)
or equivalent
Minimum
2-5 years of experience
in depot or FMCG accounting (bakery preferred)
Knowledge of
Tally / ERP / Excel
Understanding of
GST, cash handling, and inventory accounting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
