Job Title: Account cum Billing Officer

Job Summary:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Account cum Billing Officer to manage billing operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support the overall accounting function along with preparing client bills based on site progress, verifying subcontractor bills, coordinating with project and finance teams, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely invoicing. The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of electrical works and project billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:



? Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.

? Assist in preparing financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, etc.

? Verify billing data and resolve any discrepancies with clients or internal departments.

? Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

? Support internal and external audits ( ISO Audits ) by providing relevant data and reports.

? Coordinate with site engineers to obtain work progress data and prepare client invoices accordingly.

? Ensure proper documentation for all billing processes including BOQ (Bill of Quantities), work orders, and certification of measurements.

? Verify materials issued and used at sites as per project plans and reconcile with actual billing.

? Handle client communications regarding invoice clarifications, amendments, and approvals.

? Track payment schedules and follow up with clients or finance teams to ensure timely payments.

? Maintain up-to-date records of all billing documents, invoices, and contracts.

? The primary responsibility will be Billing, and in the absence of Billing tasks, duties will be undertaken in Accounts.

? Co-ordinate with Site Engineer & Purchase department to prepare the measurement sheet.

? Based on finalised sheet, prepare the Tax Invoice.

? Handling Portals (Eg. Zoho).

Qualifications and Skills:



? Proven experience (2-4 years) in a billing or accounting role.

? Knowledge of Tally, BOQ interpretation, and project billing.

? Strong Proficient in MS Excel and billing/accounting software (e.g., ERP, Tally).

? Good understanding of accounting principles and billing practices.

? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

? Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:



? Experience in MEP Billing.

? Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

? Experience handling large-scale infrastructure or industrial electrical projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?200,000.00 - ?400,000.00 per year
