We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Account Claim Executive
to manage and process financial claims, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues. This role involves close coordination with vendors, clients, and internal departments to handle debit/credit notes, return claims, and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and verify financial claims, debit/credit notes, and return settlements.
Reconcile discrepancies in billing, pricing, or inventory between parties.
Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve claim-related issues.
Maintain accurate records of all claim transactions and supporting documentation.
Track open claims and follow up for timely closures and approvals.
Prepare periodic reports on claim status, outstanding issues, and resolutions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable tax regulations (e.g., GST, TDS).
Assist in internal audits by providing claim-related data and documentation.
Support the finance team in reconciliations and other accounting tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in accounts, claims processing, or reconciliation.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and claim handling processes.
Proficiency in accounting/ERP software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Zoho, Oracle).
Good knowledge of Excel and report generation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
