Job Description

The Assistant Accountant supports the finance and accounts department in daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting. This role assists the Accountant/Finance Manager with bookkeeping, reconciliations, documentation, and statutory compliance.

Main Responsibilities :



Maintain daily accounting entries (sales, purchases, payments, receipts). Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare and update ledgers, vouchers, and financial documents. Perform bank reconciliation and vendor/customer reconciliation. Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Maintain proper filing and documentation for audits. Prepare basic financial reports and MIS statements. Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments.

Skills & Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com preferred). 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance Knowledge of Tally, Excel, and basic accounting principles. Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
