Job Description

An Accessories Sales Officer in a car dealership sells add-ons like seat covers, audio systems, and performance parts, focusing on customer consultation, product knowledge, upselling, inventory management, and ensuring customer satisfaction to meet sales targets. Key duties include understanding customer needs, explaining features/benefits, maintaining displays, processing sales, and building long-term relationships for repeat business. Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Interaction:

Greet customers, understand their needs, explain accessory features, and recommend suitable products, including upselling.

Product Expertise:

Maintain deep knowledge of current vehicle models and compatible accessories (e.g., audio, performance, safety).

Inventory & Merchandising:

Organize and maintain accessory displays, manage stock, and coordinate with the inventory team.

Sales Targets:

Work to achieve individual and dealership sales goals.

Customer Service:

Handle inquiries, resolve complaints professionally, and provide post-purchase follow-ups.

Reporting:

Prepare sales reports and assist with administrative tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous sales or customer service experience, ideally in automotive.

Skills:

Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge:

Understanding of vehicle accessories and potentially installation procedures.

Traits:

Self-motivated, customer-focused, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced setting.
