Duties

Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies. Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance performance and productivity. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers and promote new items. Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering. Engage with customers to deliver exceptional service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Implement upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities during customer interactions. Maintain merchandising standards by organizing product displays and ensuring stock availability. Perform stocking duties, replenishing inventory as needed to meet customer demand. Utilize basic math skills for inventory management and retail math calculations. Foster a bilingual environment when necessary to accommodate diverse customer needs.

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store operations is preferred. Supervising experience is highly desirable, demonstrating the ability to lead a team effectively. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is required. Experience in merchandising and product demonstrations will be considered an asset. A background in customer service is crucial for success in this role.
