Job Description

Role Overview:


An Access Control AMC Technician is responsible for the

installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic security systems

--including access control, CCTV, and related components--ensuring they operate at peak performance. This role involves conducting regular inspections, performing software updates, and providing emergency repairs to minimize downtime and maintain a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Installation and Maintenance:



Install, maintain, and repair electronic security systems such as card access, biometric readers, and CCTV cameras.

2. Troubleshooting and Repair:



Diagnose and resolve hardware and software malfunctions in access control systems.

3. Regular Inspections:



Conduct routine checks of all security systems to identify and fix potential issues before they escalate.

4. Software Updates:



Ensure all systems are updated with the latest software versions for optimal performance and security.

5. System Upgrades:



Perform necessary upgrades to enhance the reliability and effectiveness of security systems.

6. Client Interaction:



Communicate with clients to understand their requirements, customize security settings, and provide user training.

7. Documentation:



Maintain detailed logs of system configurations, maintenance activities, and modifications.

8. Compliance:



Ensure systems comply with security regulations and industry standards.

9. Collaboration:



Work closely with IT and security teams to integrate access control with other security measures.

10. Emergency Support:



Provide timely technical support and system restoration during failures or emergencies.

Skills and Qualifications:



Technical Proficiency:

In-depth knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, and networking fundamentals.

Troubleshooting Skills:

Ability to quickly diagnose and fix complex hardware/software issues.

Problem-Solving Abilities:

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Communication Skills:

Ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Certifications:

A+, Network+, or specific certifications related to access control/security systems are preferred.

Experience:

2 to 3 yrs of Hands-on experience with security solutions, access control systems, and door hardware.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
