Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Accela / Oracle Database Developer

to design, develop, and maintain robust database solutions supporting the Accela platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle databases, SQL development, performance tuning, and integration with Accela applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement scalable, secure, and efficient database solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

Oracle database schemas, tables, views, procedures, functions

, and triggers for the Accela platform. Write, optimize, and troubleshoot

complex SQL queries

, PL/SQL scripts, and stored procedures. Support the configuration, customization, and enhancement of

Accela Civic Platform

modules. Perform

database performance tuning

, query optimization, indexing strategies, and capacity planning. Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver integrated solutions. Ensure

data integrity, security, and compliance

across all database environments. Support deployment activities, data migration, and environment setup. Monitor and resolve

database-related production issues

and provide root-cause analysis. Maintain documentation for database architecture, standards, and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years

of hands-on experience with

Oracle Database Development

. Strong knowledge of

PL/SQL

, stored procedures, packages, triggers, functions, and performance tuning. Experience working with

Accela Civic Platform

including configuration, scripting, and workflow updates. Solid understanding of

database design principles

, normalization, and data modeling. Experience with

query tuning

, explain plans, and indexing. Familiarity with

data migration

, ETL processes, and integration between Accela and external systems. Understanding of

API integrations

, Accela Scripting (JavaScript), and system configuration is a plus. Knowledge of

version control tools (Git)

and SDLC processes. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with government systems or permitting/licensing platforms. Oracle certification (OCA/OCP) is a plus. Experience with cloud-hosted environments (AWS/Azure) for database deployments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
