. The candidate will produce well?researched, high-quality academic and general content (articles, study guides, white papers, essays, technical explanations, etc.) that meets academic standards, engages the target audience, and aligns with our editorial guidelines.

The ideal candidate can translate complex engineering or economics concepts into readable, compelling prose in English, and is comfortable working across academic and general content genres.

Key Responsibilities

Research, write, and edit content in the domains of Economics, Engineering, and English (language / literature / grammar / linguistics). Produce academic-style documents: essays, research overviews, case studies, problem sets, study guides, lecture notes, etc. Produce general content: blog posts, articles, explainer pieces, guides, and educational content targeted at students or learners. Ensure accuracy, clarity, coherence, and readability. Follow required style, formatting, and citation guidelines (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.). Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), editors, instructional designers to validate content. Review, proofread, and revise content per feedback. Update existing content to keep it current and correct. Meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Ensure originality / avoid plagiarism; use credible sources and proper citation. Stay updated on developments in economics, engineering, education, and linguistic / English pedagogy.
Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualifications

Master's degree (or higher) in Economics, Engineering, English / Literature, or related field Advanced degrees (MSc, MPhil, PhD) preferred for stronger content quality

Experience

2-5 years (or as per your requirement) of experience in academic writing, content writing, or subject?matter writing Experience in producing content in any of the domains (Economics, Engineering, English) is a strong plus Portfolio / samples of prior work (academic / technical / general writing) required

Technical & Writing Skills

Excellent command of English grammar, style, tone Strong research skills, ability to digest technical / academic literature Ability to explain complex ideas clearly to non?specialist readers Familiarity with academic citation formats and formatting tools Attention to detail, ability to proofread and edit Time management and ability to work under deadlines Good communication & collaboration skills

Desirable (Good to Have)

Experience with educational technology (EdTech) or learning platforms Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) Experience in multiple formats -- e.g. interactive content, visuals, infographics, slide decks Basic understanding of engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil, computer, etc.) Prior experience in writing textbooks, academic journals, or technical documentation
