Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Academic Video Presenter to be the face and voice of our online learning programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and adept at delivering complex academic concepts in a clear, concise, and engaging manner on camera. This role requires a strong on-screen presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to connect effectively with a student audience.

Key Responsibilities

Content Delivery:

Present engaging, pre-recorded, and/or live academic video content for various subjects (e.g., Physics, Maths, competitive exam prep).

Student Engagement:

Utilize effective presentation techniques, storytelling, and voice modulation to maintain high levels of student attention and facilitate active learning.

Collaboration:

Work closely with subject matter experts, scriptwriters, and the production team to develop creative video concepts and ensure content accuracy and alignment with the curriculum.

Content Creation Support:

Assist in scriptwriting, storyboarding, and preparing visually appealing presentation materials (e.g., slides, graphics, interactive elements).

Live Interaction:

Engage with students during live sessions or Q&A forums, addressing questions and providing real-time feedback to enhance understanding.

Quality Assurance:

Participate in rehearsals and feedback sessions to perfect on-screen performance and ensure high-quality video output.

Adaptability:

Adapt presentation style and tone for different content formats, such as concept explainers, case studies, or simulations.
Qualifications & Skills

Educational Background:

A degree in the relevant academic field or Education is preferred.

Experience:

Proven experience in teaching, public speaking, video presentation, or a related role, preferably within the education sector.

Communication Skills:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information accessibly.

On-Camera Presence:

A confident, professional, and natural on-camera presence with strong presentation skills.

Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with presentation software (PowerPoint, Google Slides), virtual presentation platforms, and a basic understanding of video production processes.

Soft Skills:

Creative mindset and a passion for engaging and educating audiences. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Openness to receiving and implementing feedback for continuous improvement.
