Role Objective:

To lead academic excellence and ensure world-class training quality through effective curriculum management, trainer development, and student success initiatives, while maintaining academic alignment with

EICT IIT Guwahati

.

Key Responsibilities:1. Academic Leadership

Develop, implement, and monitor academic strategies aligned with institutional goals and IIT partner standards. Oversee curriculum planning, syllabus enhancement, and course benchmarking. Set academic KPIs for trainers, students, and program delivery.

2. Training & Faculty Development

Recruit, train, and mentor technical trainers and academic coordinators. Conduct faculty training programs to ensure upskilling and teaching excellence. Audit classroom sessions and maintain high delivery quality.

3. Curriculum & Content Management

Guide creation of up-to-date course material, practical projects, and assessments. Introduce industry-based case studies and hands-on assignments. Collaborate with IIT experts and industry professionals for content validation.

4. Student Learning & Outcomes

Oversee student counselling, attendance, and academic performance tracking. Ensure career readiness through technical bootcamps, hackathons, and placement-driven learning. Monitor and analyze student feedback to improve learning experiences.

5. Partner Coordination & Academic Compliance

Serve as the academic point of contact for

EICT IIT Guwahati

partnership. Ensure quality standards, reporting, and compliance with all academic guidelines. Represent Cybrom in academic audits, reviews, and strategic partner meetings.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

B.Tech/M.Tech/MSc/PhD in Computer Science, IT, or Data Science-related fields.

Experience:

8-12 years in academic/training leadership within EdTech, universities, or technical training setups.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in one or more domains -- Full Stack, Data Science, ML/AI, Cyber Security.

Soft Skills:

Strategic thinking, people management, communication, and quality orientation.

Performance Metrics:

Student satisfaction and academic performance metrics. Faculty quality and retention. Compliance with IIT Guwahati and accreditation standards. Timely delivery of academic plans and content. Placement readiness and job outcomes of trained students.
