Lead College is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Academic Support Quality Assurance Officer to join our growing team. This pivotal role supports the implementation, monitoring, and ongoing improvement of academic quality assurance across our RTO operations. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with the Standards for RTOs 2025 and help maintain excellence in training and assessment delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Implement quality assurance processes aligned with ASQA and internal frameworks
Assist with audits, evidence gathering, policy updates, and validations
Maintain quality records, audit schedules, and compliance checklists
Academic Monitoring
Monitor training delivery and trainer/assessor credentials
Support validation, moderation, and academic performance reviews
Maintain records of assessment tools, TAS documents, and course outcomes
Reporting & Data Management
Compile reports on student outcomes, trainer performance, and compliance
Maintain registers for staff qualifications, validations, and feedback
Stakeholder Support & Training
Support academic staff in understanding and implementing quality standards
Provide training and administrative assistance on QA procedures
Attend academic meetings and provide QA insights
Continuous Improvement
Assist in capturing and responding to student feedback
Support review of action plans from audits and evaluations
Selection Criteria:
Essential:
Qualification in Education, Business, or a related field
Experience in an RTO or higher education setting
Understanding of ASQA and RTO compliance standards
Strong documentation, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
Desirable:
Experience with VETtrak, Wisenet, Axcelerate, or similar SMS
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
Knowledge of AQF and ESOS Act
Working Conditions:
Fully remote role with flexible hours to meet compliance deadlines
Standard office hours with occasional project-based adjustments
