Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic

Academic Planning Executive

to lead the scheduling and operational framework of our competitive exam coaching programs. This role is central to our mission, ensuring that students preparing for Kerala PSC, UPSC, and specialized mentorship programs have a seamless, logical, and effective learning path.

As an Academic Planning Executive, you will be the bridge between our faculty, students, and curriculum goals, turning complex syllabi into actionable daily schedules.

Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Class Scheduling

Curriculum Mapping:

Develop comprehensive long-term and short-term academic calendars for Kerala PSC (KAS, Degree Level, etc.) and UPSC (Prelims/Mains).

Daily Timetabling:

Coordinate faculty availability to create weekly class schedules that maximize classroom/online resource utilization.

Balance & Flow:

Ensure a pedagogical balance between subjects (e.g., alternating between heavy GS topics and lighter aptitude sessions) to prevent student burnout.
2. Mentorship Program Coordination

Individual Tracking:

Schedule one-on-one mentorship slots between students and mentors.

Progress Monitoring:

Organize periodic review meetings to track student performance and adjust academic plans based on mock test results.

Feedback Loops:

Act as the primary point of contact for students regarding schedule grievances or mentorship requirements.
3. Faculty & Resource Management

Liaison:

Serve as the main coordinator for guest faculty and subject matter experts, ensuring they are briefed on their schedules well in advance.

Compliance:

Ensure that the syllabus for each exam cycle is completed within the stipulated deadlines.

Crisis Management:

Quickly re-calibrate schedules in the event of faculty absence or changes in exam dates by the commission.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Management, or a related field.

Domain Knowledge:

A strong understanding of the

UPSC and Kerala PSC exam patterns

, cycles, and syllabus structures is highly preferred.

Technical Proficiency:

Advanced skills in MS Excel or academic management software.

Organizational Skills:

Exceptional ability to multitask and manage complex timelines without errors.

Communication:

Fluent in English and Malayalam to effectively communicate with local faculty and students.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Syllabus Completion Rate:

Percentage of subjects completed within the planned timeframe.

Schedule Adherence:

Minimal last-minute changes or cancellations to the published timetable.

Student Satisfaction:

Feedback scores regarding the pace and logic of the academic plan.
