The Manager - Academic Operations is responsible for planning, monitoring, and implementing the preschool program across multiple centers. The role focuses on ensuring academic and operational excellence, maintaining compliance with organizational policies, and nurturing high-quality early learning environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesA. Visioning and Planning
Embed the organization's mission, vision, and values across teams.
Foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and care.
Promote the organization's educational philosophy and strengthen its reputation in early childhood education.
B. Academics
Design, review, and implement the Early Childhood curriculum (Toddler to HKG).
Plan and evaluate co-curricular programs and new initiatives.
Develop assessment tools and evaluate center and student performance.
Support inclusive education in collaboration with special educators.
Maintain academic documentation and SOPs.
C. Guidance and Monitoring
Conduct regular center visits to provide academic and operational guidance.
Mentor headteachers, teachers, and local committees to ensure consistent quality across centers.
D. Staffing & Professional Development
Plan and deliver training programs for teaching and administrative staff.
Identify performance gaps and training needs.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and capacity-building initiatives.
E. Communication & Outreach
Oversee marketing, PR, and social media engagement for preschool programs.
Ensure smooth communication between field teams and management.
Address stakeholder queries and ensure timely reporting.
F. Administration
Supervise administrative processes, events, and external visits.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and government norms.
Maintain safety, hygiene, and infrastructure standards across centers.
G. Finance & Resource Management
Collaborate on budgeting, planning, and financial tracking.
Monitor fund utilization and maintain financial documentation.
H. Networking & Liaison
Build partnerships with NGOs, educational bodies, and government departments.
Execute outreach and advocacy programs related to early childhood development.
I. Reporting & Documentation
Submit periodic reports, feasibility studies, and analytical reviews.
Monitor project outcomes and maintain transparency in data reporting.
J. Safety & Infrastructure
Assess infrastructure needs and ensure compliance with safety norms.
Coordinate with facility teams for maintenance and upgrades.
Implement safeguarding and child protection policies.
K. Stakeholder Engagement
Strengthen parent and community participation through meetings, events, and awareness programs.
Support local committees in governance and engagement activities.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Development, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
Strong understanding of early childhood pedagogy and curriculum.
Proven leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Knowledge of government policies and compliance standards.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in monitoring, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
Experience in grant writing and resource mobilization is an advantage.
