Position: Academic Mentor

Do you have a passion for guiding students and making a real impact in their academic lives? We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Academic Mentors to support students in reaching their academic and personal goals through consistent guidance, motivation, and collaboration.

Role Overview

As an Academic Mentor, you will be a key figure in a student's educational journey--providing academic support, encouraging personal growth, and working closely with teachers and families to create a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

Student Mentorship & Engagement

Build strong, positive relationships with students to encourage confidence and motivation. Lead extracurricular activities and programs that enhance student engagement and overall development. Collaborate with teachers and counselors to support students facing academic or personal challenges.

Academic Support & Progress Tracking

Monitor student performance and identify areas for improvement early on. Conduct academic reviews and provide personalized support based on individual needs. Assist in designing tailored learning plans in coordination with teaching staff.

Parent Communication & Collaboration

Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs. Participate in parent meetings to align on academic goals and strategies. Provide suggestions to help parents support learning outside the classroom.

Reporting & Data Management

Accurately record student attendance, performance, and behavioral observations. Analyze student data to drive interventions and continuous improvement. Use academic management tools to track and report student outcomes effectively.

What You'll Bring

A strong passion for working with students and supporting their development. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to analyze student performance and provide effective academic support. Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used for academic tracking and reporting.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?16,000.00 per month
