Role Overview:



The Academic Mentor plays a pivotal role in guiding and tracking the academic progress of students enrolled in the Integrated School Program, which combines NEET, JEE and Board preparation.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Academic Monitoring & Evaluation



Regularly evaluate student performance across DPPs, CWEs Exams (Chapter wise exams) for both NEET, JEE and Board syllabus. Identify trends in grades of students (improvement, decline, stagnation) using data and logs. Analyze performance discrepancies (e.g., strong in Boards but weak in NEET or JEE or vice versa) and plan corrective strategies. Plan weekly interventions for students struggling with specific areas ensuring measurable improvement through focused practice. Adjust DPP evaluation patterns to cover both: Descriptive depth for Boards. MCQ precision for NEET & JEE.

2. Academic Planning & Content Delivery



Refer to the school-specific timetable shared by the respective Academic Coordinators according to the academic year plan. Align teaching methods with the academic milestones set in the yearly plan, balancing theory-oriented Board topics with application-based NEET, JEE preparation. Emphasis on theoretical & practical depth for Board exams. Focus on concept application and MCQ techniques for NEET & JEE.

3. Mentorship & Student Engagement



Maintain mentor review logs to track students with fluctuating performance, noting emotional, academic, and behavioral factors. Speak to underperforming students using a supportive and motivating tone, setting short-term goals to regain confidence. Create and follow a structured weekly plan for 35+ students including: DPP checking and individual feedback. Doubt-clearing sessions. Academic log updates. Monitor weekly test score improvements Responsible for overseeing hostel rounds and ensuring adherence to discipline and conduct guidelines. Coordinate weekly tests and GIB to support academic monitoring and student engagement.

4. Parent Communication



Ensure parental communication is done biweekly, covering academic performance, attendance, and emotional well-being. Handle objections regarding Board vs NEET & JEE priorities by explaining the integrated curriculum's benefits and long-term academic vision. Communicate fee-related matters, ensure timely fee collection, and update portal with accurate fee punching.

5. Time & Resource Management



Efficiently manage time during student evaluations Plan micro-tasks. Track batch performance metrics

Skills & Competencies Required:



Strong academic grounding in NEET, JEE and Class 11-12 Board syllabus Ability to interpret student data, logs, and performance trends analytically. Deep understanding of NEET & JEE exam pattern, Board question design, and difference in preparation strategy. Skilled in both MCQ analysis and descriptive answer checking. Ability to manage a student load of 35+ while maintaining quality feedback and tracking. Excellent verbal and writ ten communication (especially for parent and student meetings). Time management and the ability to work under academic calendar pressure. Empathetic yet result-oriented mentorship attitude.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
