The Hybrid Mentor plays a key role in supporting and guiding students throughout their academic journey. This position is responsible for identifying learning gaps, implementing corrective strategies, monitoring performance, and enabling holistic development. The mentor will also serve as a bridge between students, parents, and faculty to ensure academic discipline, motivation, and consistent engagement.
Maintain updated knowledge of daily academic schedules, chapters in progress, and upcoming lessons to proactively assist students.
Track and evaluate student performance through
DPPs (Daily Practice Problems), DTS (Daily Test Series), and CWEs (Chapter-Wise Exams).
Analyze performance trends--improvements, decline, or stagnation--using score reports and logs.
Identify and address discrepancies (e.g., strong DPP scores but poor DTS results) by validating root causes.
Implement tailored strategies to support underperforming students and improve academic outcomes.
Conduct
doubt-clearing sessions
after DTS to strengthen understanding.
Ensure
timely DPP corrections
(within 24-48 hours).
Coordinate weekly tests and
GIB
activities to maintain academic consistency and engagement.
Oversee hostel rounds to ensure adherence to discipline and institutional guidelines.
Provide continuous motivation and personal support to students.
2. Hybrid Learning & App Utilization
Assist students in effectively using app features such as doubt discussion forums.
Clearly explain the
hybrid learning model
to students and parents, emphasizing flexibility, effectiveness, and value.
Encourage and monitor active participation in both
online and offline classes.
Work to minimize dropouts through consistent engagement and guidance.
3. Student Mentoring & Communication
Guide students who deviate from academic timetables, reinforcing structure and discipline.
Manage DTS absentees by arranging makeup sessions and tracking recurring patterns.
Maintain accurate and timely records of DTS performance, student feedback, and parent communication in alignment with internal reporting requirements.
4. Parent Communication
Clearly communicate program structure, objectives, and student progress.
Build trust by providing regular updates on attendance, test performance, and improvements.
Address fee-related queries, ensure
timely fee collection,
and update portals with accurate fee punching.
