Position: Academic Mentor - Male

About the Role

As an Academic Mentor, you'll be a trusted support for students--someone they can rely on for motivation, guidance, and encouragement. You'll work closely with teachers and families to monitor progress, provide support where needed, and create a positive learning environment.

What You'll DoMentor and Engage Students

Build meaningful relationships with students to encourage their academic and personal growth. Lead co-curricular activities, clubs, or group sessions to support overall development. Work with teachers and counselors to understand and respond to student needs.

Support Academic Progress

Track how students are doing in school and identify where they might need help. Run regular check-ins or assessments and offer targeted guidance. Help create simple learning plans with faculty for students who need extra attention.

Stay Connected with Families

Keep parents updated on how their child is doing in school--both strengths and areas to improve. Participate in meetings with families to set goals and share ideas for supporting learning at home.

Use Data to Make a Difference

Maintain clear records of student progress, attendance, and behavior. Look at academic data to see what's working and what needs adjustment. Use digital tools to track and report on student performance.

What We're Looking For

Someone who genuinely cares about helping students grow. Great communication skills and the ability to connect with students, teachers, and families. Organized and comfortable using basic digital tools and tracking systems. An eye for details and a willingness to help students stay on track academically.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to do more than just teach--someone who wants to mentor, inspire, and support students in meaningful ways.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
