Role Overview

As an Academic Mentor, you will act as a supportive guide for students, helping them overcome academic challenges, build confidence, and stay on track. You'll work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure each student receives the attention and care they need to thrive.

Key ResponsibilitiesMentorship & Student Engagement

Build positive, trust-based relationships with students. Encourage participation in co-curricular and enrichment programs. Coordinate with teachers and counselors to address student needs.

Academic Support

Monitor academic performance and identify learning gaps. Provide regular academic assessments and one-on-one support. Assist in developing personalized learning strategies for struggling students.

Parent Collaboration

Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress. Attend and contribute to parent-teacher meetings and goal-setting discussions. Offer suggestions for at-home learning support.

Reporting & Data Management

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral progress. Analyze academic data to recommend interventions. Use educational platforms to manage and report student performance.

Requirements

Passion for mentoring and student development. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Basic analytical skills and comfort with digital tools. Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
