Job Opening: Academic Mentor

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

You'll be an essential

mentor and guide

for our students in a live-in (Hosteller) setting. Your main goal is to help students succeed both in their studies and in their personal lives. You will track their progress, build strong relationships with them and their parents, and make sure the learning environment is supportive.

Roles and responsibilities:
1. Helping Students Thrive

Be a

trusted mentor

; build positive relationships with students to help them with school and personal issues. Run and organize student clubs, activities, and programs that help them grow outside of class. Work closely with teachers and counselors to quickly address student concerns and help solve problems.
2. Boosting Academic Results (Support)

Watch and track

student grades and progress. Find out quickly when a student is struggling. Give regular assessments (tests/quizzes) to check if students understand the lessons. Team up with teachers to create

personal study plans

for students who need extra help to catch up or excel.
3. Working with Parents (Communication)

Keep parents updated

regularly on their child's academic performance and personal development. Organize and participate in parent meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and goals. Listen to parent concerns and give them

advice

on how they can support their child's learning at home.
4. Keeping Records Straight (Admin)

Keep

accurate records

of attendance, grades, test scores, and student behavior. Create reports and analyze data to show how students are performing (for parents and school leaders). Use school computer programs (MIS/software) to keep track of student information efficiently.
Requirements:

You must have a strong

passion

for guiding and motivating students. You have excellent

people skills

and can talk easily with students, parents, and other staff. You are good at looking at data (like test scores) and figuring out

how to help

students improve. You are comfortable using computers and software to keep and manage records.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
