to join our residential campus in Thrissur. This role goes beyond academic guidance--Academic Mentors serve as a constant support system, creating a safe and nurturing "home away from home" environment for students. You will play a pivotal role in balancing academic discipline with emotional well-being, ensuring students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about holistic education, continuous student engagement, and residential mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

Residential Mentorship

Build strong, trust-based relationships with hostel residents. Act as the primary point of contact for students' academic, emotional, and personal needs.

Structured Academic Support

Conduct daily evening mentoring sessions and supervised study hours. Help students develop consistent study habits and time-management skills.

Academic Performance Monitoring

Track student progress regularly and identify learning gaps. Create and implement personalized improvement plans aligned with individual learning needs.

Collaborative Academic Interventions

Work closely with faculty and academic teams to support classroom learning outcomes. Assist in executing targeted interventions for students requiring additional support.

Parental Communication

Maintain regular and transparent communication with parents/guardians. Share updates on academic performance, behavior, and overall residential well-being.

Holistic Development & Engagement

Organize and lead co-curricular activities, enrichment programs, and skill-development sessions. Encourage character building, teamwork, and personal responsibility.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate digital records of attendance, performance, behavior, and mentoring interactions. Ensure timely reporting and compliance with institutional processes.

Emotional & Crisis Support

Provide first-level emotional support and guidance to students. Coordinate with professional counselors for academic stress, homesickness, or emotional concerns.

Hostel Environment & Discipline

Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined residential culture. Promote values of respect, responsibility, and academic excellence.

Professional Development

Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance mentoring and student engagement skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile

Strong communication and interpersonal skills (fluency in

Malayalam and English

is highly preferred). Willingness to

reside on campus

and manage a flexible residential schedule. A compassionate, patient, and student-centric mindset. Ability to handle student behavior positively and proactively. Passion for mentoring, education, and student well-being.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹16,500.00 per month
