Job Summary


The

principal

looks at the

teachers

, administrative staff, and support staff as a team. The team

needs to

be able to function well together and enjoy collaborating to maximize student learning and develop a positive school community

A

Teacher

is responsible for preparing lesson plans and educating students at all levels. Their duties include assigning homework, grading tests, and documenting progress.

Teachers

must be able to instruct in a variety of subjects and reach students with engaging lesson plans.

Responsibilities and Duties


The role of a

teacher

is to use classroom instruction and presentations to help students learn and apply concepts such as math, English, and science.

Teachers

prepare lessons, grade papers, manage the classroom, meet with parents, and work closely with school staff

The

role

of a

principal

is to provide strategic direction in the school system. Principals develop standardized curricula, assess teaching methods, monitor student achievement, encourage parent involvement, revise policies and procedures, administer the budget, hire and evaluate staff and oversee facilities.
