The Academic Head will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the academic team. The role involves planning, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving academic programs to ensure high-quality learning outcomes. The Academic Head will also act as a bridge between faculty, students, and management to achieve institutional goals.
Design, develop, and implement academic policies, curriculum, and frameworks aligned with institutional goals.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Drive innovation in teaching methodologies, pedagogy, and assessment practices.
2. Faculty Management
Recruit, train, and mentor faculty members.
Conduct regular faculty meetings, workshops, and performance evaluations.
Foster a culture of professional development and continuous learning.
3. Student Learning & Development
Monitor and evaluate teaching effectiveness and student performance.
Ensure the availability of resources to support learning.
Implement academic support programs (remedial classes, mentorship, career guidance).
4. Administration & Operations
Prepare and monitor academic calendars, timetables, and examination schedules.
Collaborate with administrative departments to ensure smooth academic operations.
Oversee preparation of reports, academic audits, and documentation.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a liaison between students, parents, faculty, and management.
Handle academic grievances and provide resolution.
Represent the institution in academic forums, seminars, and conferences.
