Job Description

The Academic Counselor (BDA) is responsible for guiding students and parents through the admission process, understanding their learning needs, and recommending suitable programs or courses. The role involves both counseling and business development responsibilities -- converting leads into enrollments while maintaining strong relationships with potential students.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Counseling:

Interact with students and parents to understand academic goals, career aspirations, and course preferences. Provide detailed information about programs, eligibility criteria, and career outcomes. Guide students through the enrollment and documentation process.

Sales & Lead Conversion:

Follow up with potential leads generated through marketing, inquiries, and references. Convert inquiries into confirmed admissions through effective counseling and persuasion. Achieve monthly and quarterly admission or revenue targets.

Communication & Coordination:

Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance lead generation and follow-up strategies. Coordinate with academic and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding of students. Maintain accurate records of calls, interactions, and admissions using CRM tools.

Reporting & Analysis:

Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics. Submit reports on lead status, follow-up progress, and admissions achieved. Provide insights to management for process improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (any discipline). Prior experience in academic counseling, sales, or education industry preferred. Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
