Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and student-centric

MBBS Admissions Counsellor

to guide students and their families through the

end-to-end MBBS admission process abroad

, from initial enquiry to successful university enrollment. The ideal candidate will have strong counselling skills, hands-on exposure to

overseas medical education systems (especially Russia and CIS countries)

, and a genuine passion for helping aspiring doctors achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counselling & Guidance

Counsel students and parents on

MBBS programs abroad

, including university options, eligibility criteria, admission procedures, and long-term career pathways Conduct

one-on-one counselling sessions

to assess academic background, financial considerations, and career aspirations Assist students in selecting the

right medical university

based on merit, budget, country preference, and recognition status
Admissions, Documentation & Visa Support

Guide students through the

application, admission, and visa processes

, ensuring timely and accurate document submission Provide detailed guidance on

medical licensing exams

such as

NExT / FMGE

and explain university accreditation and recognition (WHO, NMC, ECFMG, etc.) Coordinate closely with visa, documentation, and operations teams to ensure

smooth student onboarding

Lead Management & Conversion

Follow up with enquiries through

calls, emails, and meetings

to convert prospects into confirmed admissions Maintain accurate and up-to-date

student records, application status, and communication logs

using CRM systems Meet defined

enrolment targets

while maintaining a student-first counselling approach
Events & Market Engagement

Participate in

education fairs, seminars, webinars, and counselling sessions

organized by the company Stay updated on the latest developments in

international medical education

, including admission policies, university rankings, and country-specific requirements
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in

Education, Counselling, Healthcare, or a related field

Master's degree preferred

6 months to 5 years of experience

in

student counselling

, preferably in

MBBS or study abroad admissions

Strong knowledge of

MBBS admissions in Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and other CIS countries

Excellent

communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

, with confidence in handling students and parents Strong

organizational and multitasking abilities

to manage multiple student cases Proficiency in

MS Office and CRM tools
