About the Role

Ducat India is looking for an experienced

Academic Counsellor

who has worked with

short-term IT / Software training programs

such as

Java, Python, Digital Marketing, Data Science, Full Stack Development, Cloud and related technologies

.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about guiding students, understanding their career goals and helping them choose the right training programs.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students regarding IT/Software training courses and career paths. Understand learners' goals and recommend suitable programs. Handle walk-ins, call inquiries and follow-up leads efficiently. Maintain CRM entries and track follow-ups until enrollment. Collaborate with trainers and the placement team to ensure smooth coordination. Achieve monthly admission/enrollment targets. Provide accurate course information and resolve student queries.

Requirements

Minimum

1-3 years of experience

in counselling for

short-term IT/Software courses

. Strong understanding of technologies like Java, Python, Data Science, Digital Marketing, Cloud, etc. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a target-driven environment. Strong follow-up and conversion skills.
