The Academic Counselor will be responsible for guiding students regarding courses, career paths, and admissions while driving sales conversions. This role involves counselling, upselling, and ensuring students choose the right program based on their academic background and career goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Student Counselling & Conversion
Counsel students on courses, eligibility, career scope, and academic pathways.
Understand student needs and suggest suitable programs.
Ensure high lead-to-admission conversion rates.
Follow up on student inquiries via calls, WhatsApp, and emails.
2. Sales & Revenue Generation
Handle inbound and outbound calls for admissions.
Convert warm leads into admissions.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Maintain strong follow-up discipline with leads.
3. Communication & Relationship Building
Build rapport with students and parents.
Address queries professionally and maintain service quality.
Guide students throughout the admission process.
4. Coordination & Documentation
Coordinate with internal teams (operations, academics, sales).
Maintain daily MIS reports and CRM entries.
Assist students with application forms, admission documents, and fee details.
Skills & Requirements
Excellent communication & convincing skills.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to handle pressure & meet targets.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM).
Experience in EdTech, counselling, or telesales preferred.
