who will be the first point of contact for incoming leads. The role involves actively calling potential learners, explaining course details, scheduling demo sessions, driving walk-ins (if applicable), and ultimately converting leads into successful enrolments.
Key Responsibilities:
Call and counsel potential leads generated through various marketing channels (digital, events, referrals, etc.)
Understand the learning needs and career goals of each lead and recommend suitable programs.
Schedule and follow up on demo classes with faculty or counsellors.
Drive walk-in visits and engage with students/parents effectively.
Handle queries over phone, email, WhatsApp, or chat in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain lead database and track progress through CRM tools.
Follow-up rigorously with warm/hot leads to ensure maximum conversions.
Share program details, fee structures, offers, and guide students through the enrolment process.
Achieve weekly/monthly enrolment and revenue targets.
Coordinate with academic and operations teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for students.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Education/Business/Marketing preferred)
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in academic counseling, inside sales, or tele-counseling preferred
Freshers with strong communication and persuasion skills may also apply
Key Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication in English (knowledge of regional languages is a plus)
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Confident, energetic, and target-driven personality
Familiarity with CRM systems and lead management tools
Ability to handle pressure and meet sales targets
