Job Title: Academic Counselor/Educational Counselor : Position Overview:
The Academic Counselor/Educational Counselor plays a crucial role in guiding and supporting students in their academic journey. The primary responsibility is to provide personalized counseling to students, helping them make informed decisions about their academic and career paths. The counselor will collaborate with students, parents, and educational institutions to ensure a positive and successful educational experience. Key Responsibilities: 1. Student Counseling:
- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to understand their academic goals, strengths, and challenges.
- Provide guidance on course selection, academic planning, and career development.
- Assist students in developing study skills, time management, and goal-setting strategies. 2. Educational Planning:
- Stay updated on academic programs, course requirements, and career opportunities.
- Collaborate with students to create personalized academic plans that align with their interests and career aspirations.
- Help students navigate curriculum choices and make informed decisions about majors and minors. 3. Admissions Support:
- Assist students in the college admissions process, including application preparation, essay writing, and interview coaching.
- Stay informed about admission requirements for various educational institutions.
- Provide support in preparing and organizing necessary documents for college applications. 4. Resource Management:
- Maintain a comprehensive database of educational resources, scholarship opportunities, and career development programs.
- Connect students with relevant resources to enhance their academic and extracurricular experiences. 5. Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to address academic concerns and promote student success.
- Organize and participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress and address any challenges. 6. Professional Development:
- Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to stay updated on educational trends and counseling techniques.
- Continuously enhance counseling skills and knowledge to better support students. Qualifications: - Bachelor\'s degree in counseling, education, psychology, or a related field. Master\'s degree preferred. - 1+Years of experience
- Previous experience in academic counseling or related roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of educational systems, curriculum requirements, and career pathways. - Mandatory having Edu-Tech background
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and educators.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards. Note \xe2\x80\x93 The organization is flexible in terms of compensation for the deserving
candidates.

• We prefer candidates who from ed tech background,
• who can join immediately and are based in Hyderabad only.
• It\'s essential to clarify that these job roles require physical presence in the office;

remote work is not available.

• For the initial 3 months, it will be a six-day work week, and after this period,
• it will transition to a five-day work week with rotational week-offs (alternating

between Saturday-Sunday and Monday-Tuesday).
