Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students and parents (walk-in, telephonic, and online).
Understand the academic background, interests, and goals of students to recommend suitable courses, colleges, or programs.
Provide accurate and updated information about course offerings, eligibility, fees, and career prospects.
Maintain a student-centric and empathetic approach throughout the counselling process.
2. Lead Conversion & Admission Handling
Follow up on leads provided by the telecalling or marketing team.
Convert walk-ins and online leads into counselling sessions and successful admissions.
Explain fee structures, scholarship options, and payment processes to students.
Assist in completing admission formalities and ensure smooth onboarding of enrolled students.
3. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with telecallers, marketing, and documentation teams for timely lead updates and admissions support.
Maintain clear and professional communication with parents, students, and internal teams.
Keep track of upcoming seminars, workshops, and school visits to stay aligned with outreach activities.
4. Record Keeping & Reporting
Maintain daily records of counselling sessions, follow-ups, and conversions.
Update CRM or Excel tracker with accurate student data and status.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly counselling reports to the Operations Head
5. Target Achievement
Achieve monthly and quarterly admission/conversion targets assigned by management.
Contribute to overall business growth through consistent performance.
Ensure high conversion ratios from inquiry to admission.
6. Student Relationship Management
Build trust-based relationships with students and parents to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Provide post-admission support and guidance where required.
Encourage referrals and positive word-of-mouth through relationship-building.
7. Performance & Goal Achievement
Consistently achieve or exceed individual counselling and admission targets.
Maintain a professional, positive, and helpful attitude in communication and presentation.
Handle student concerns and objections with empathy and confidence.
8. Training & Development
Actively participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance counselling, communication, and sales skills.
Stay updated with educational trends, admission deadlines, and institutional updates.
Continuously upgrade knowledge about The Company's services and partner institutions.
9. Conduct & Professionalism
Maintain punctuality, discipline, and confidentiality of student data.
Represent The Company with integrity, professionalism, and empathy in all interactions.
Adhere to all company policies and reporting standards.

Qualifications & Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred in Psychology / Education / Management / Counselling)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong listening, problem-solving, and persuasive abilities
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM systems)
Prior experience in academic counselling, admissions, or education consulting preferred
Language :English, Hindi with Bengali / Nepali
