Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and student-focused

Academic Counselor

to guide and support students in achieving their academic and career goals. The ideal candidate will help students choose the right courses, provide career counseling, and assist with admissions and academic performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise students on course selection, academic planning, and career paths. Provide information on various academic programs, colleges, and scholarship opportunities. Assist students in the application and admission process for schools, colleges, or study abroad programs. Conduct one-on-one or group counseling sessions to discuss academic issues and career aspirations. Monitor student progress and performance, offering guidance to overcome academic challenges. Maintain accurate records of student counseling and progress reports. Organize workshops/seminars on career guidance, time management, and exam preparation. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrative staff to support students' academic growth. Stay updated with changes in education systems, entrance exams, and industry trends.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related field. Proven experience as an academic or career counselor preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of education systems (local and international is a plus). Empathetic, patient, and student-centric approach.
