Academic Counselor

Role Description :

The Academic Counselor will be responsible for guiding students in making informed academic and career decisions. The role involves counseling prospective and current students regarding course selection, career opportunities, admission processes, and academic growth, while ensuring a positive student experience.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students and parents regarding academic programs, courses, and career opportunities.

Guide students in the admission and enrollment process, including eligibility, documentation, and application requirements.

Assist in identifying students' interests, strengths, and career aspirations to recommend suitable academic paths.

Maintain detailed records of student interactions, queries, and counseling outcomes.

Conduct orientation sessions, seminars, and workshops for prospective and enrolled students.

Coordinate with faculty and academic departments to resolve student concerns.

Support in achieving student enrollment and retention targets.

Stay updated on current academic trends, competitive institutions, and industry requirements.

Provide regular feedback to management regarding student queries, market trends, and process improvements.

Participate in outreach activities such as school visits, education fairs, and promotional events.

Qualifications :

?Excellent Communication skills

?Ability to work independently and collaboratively

?Experience in educational or training services is a plus
