We are looking for a dedicated and student-focused

Academic Advisor

who will guide students in making informed academic and career decisions. The role involves counselling students about course options, career paths, admissions, and helping them achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel and guide students regarding courses, academic programs, and career opportunities. Assist students in developing educational and career plans aligned with their goals. Provide information about admissions, eligibility, and enrollment procedures. Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions for prospective students. Maintain accurate student records and track their progress. Support in organizing seminars, workshops, and orientation programs. Collaborate with faculty, career services, and other departments for student success. Handle queries via calls, emails, and in-person meetings in a professional manner. Stay updated with industry trends, new courses, and career opportunities to provide relevant guidance.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Active listening and empathetic counselling abilities. Ability to motivate and guide students effectively. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Good organizational and record-keeping skills. Proficiency in MS Office/CRM tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Education, Counselling, or related field. Prior experience in academic counselling, career guidance, or student advisory roles preferred. Freshers with excellent communication skills and passion for student development may also apply.
